Air Date: Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 9pm on THIRTEEN

Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant star in this masterfully suspenseful, romantic-comedy-thriller set in Paris.

Reggie Lampert (Hepburn), a French-to-English translator living in Paris, returns from a vacation in the Alps to discover that, while she was gone, her husband auctioned off all of his possessions and fled the country—immediately before being murdered. The FBI reveals to Reggie that, before his death, her husband likely hid $250,000, stolen from the American government, in a place where only she would be able to find it.

Over the next few days, several dangerous men from Mr. Lampert’s past turn up in Paris, each one hoping to find and claim the money for himself. With the help of a man who first claims to be named Peter Joshua (and then changes his identity several times), Reggie struggles to find the $250,000 and return it to the American government before her husband’s murderer finds her.

Directed by Stanley Donen, Charade is a suspenseful and humorous American classic. Walter Matthau, James Coburn, Ned Glass and George Kennedy all play supporting roles as men seeking to claim Mr. Lampert’s stolen money.
